Completion of Leaside Lock Phase 1 & 2 – A New Chapter for Bromley-by-Bow
In the heart of East London, a vibrant new community has taken shape. Guinness Homes is proud to announce the successful completion of the first two phases of the Leaside Lock development in Bromley-by-Bow, a landmark project that has brought high-quality, contemporary homes to one of London’s most exciting regeneration areas.
Launched in November 2021, Leaside Lock began with 296 studio, 1, 2, and 3-bedroom homes available through Shared Ownership and Private Sale. Just a few months later, in February 2022, the first residents began moving into their new homes, marking the beginning of a thriving new neighbourhood. Over the next three years, the development steadily grew, culminating in the final home being completed on 30th May 2025.
This milestone represents more than just the delivery of homes – it’s the creation of a connected community with excellent transport links, and a strong sense of place.

More to come – Phase 3 of Leaside Lock
Phase 3 of Leaside Lock is already well underway, and will bring an additional 186 Shared Ownership and Private Sale homes to the development. Construction is progressing, with the first homes expected to go on sale from Spring 2026, and final completion targeted for Winter 2026 / Spring 2027.
